Suite 2 at Spencer Suites offered a charming atmosphere with a lovely mix of historic features and modern amenities. The spacious suite had a comfortable living area with a well-equipped kitchenette, making it easy to prepare meals. Great natural light poured in from large windows, providing lovely views of the surrounding area. Free on-site parking was a plus, and the location allowed for a short walk to local cafes and shops. Unfortunately, the bed was uncomfortable and needed attention, which negatively impacted my sleep. the air conditioner struggled to cool the room adequately, and I had to rely on a fan heater during my stay. The TV was mounted high on the wall, making it awkward to watch comfortably. There's also a high step from the bedroom to the kitchen area, which poses a risk for anyone with mobility issues. These issues detracted from an otherwise pleasant stay.

Gorgeous suite with modern comforts
I absolutely loved my stay in Suite 4! It was beautifully clean and had everything I needed, including a relaxing spa bath. The location was perfect, just a short stroll to the main street and local eateries. My only minor gripe would be the occasional noise from the nearby pub during the afternoon, but it didn't affect my overall enjoyment.

There were several drawbacks worth noting. The spa lacked support handles, making it a risk for slips, and the mattress showed signs of wear with an uncomfortable bumpy side. The absence of menus for local dining options in the room made it less convenient for planning meals. If you stay here, be cautious about noise from the nearby pub during the afternoon, although it quiets down at night.

quaint historic architecture, well-equipped kitchenette, convenient self check-in
The sprawling layout poses a risk for tripping, insufficient lighting in certain areas detracts from comfort!!! The air conditioning struggles, making warm weather stay uncomfortable!!! The need for better bathroom amenities is evident!!!

Had a lovely time, especially enjoying the well-equipped kitchenette and the cozy living area that made relaxing easy. The garden area and BBQ facilities were great for unwinding after a day out. Just a heads up, we could’ve used a full-length mirror, but it didn’t take away from our overall stay. 😊

Recommend it for couples seeking comfort
Suite One was equipped with a comfortable queen bed and a washer and dryer, something we found very useful. Plus, the kitchen had everything to whip up a nice dinner together with great views from the large windows.
It wasn't cheap, though the value justified it in the end.
